I love MY CHURCH because it is encouraging, supporting, uplifting, enlightening, and life changing. It has excited me about God. It has excited me about love. It has excited me about life. Thank you to each and everyone of you who plays an active role in bringing the Lord\'s word to my life.

Stevens Creek is where God called me to bring my family back to their faith. Just like Jeremiah 29:11; He has plans for us all. I love my church because it is my home, its a special workshop for God to start a fire in His people. The outreach is so vital and I couldn't be happier knowing I'm where God wants me to be!

I love my church because it is encouraging, inspiring, cutting edge, and mostly because it is life changing. I love my church because it has excited me about life, about love and mostly about God. It has opened my heart to serve others and I love that! Thank you to each and everyone involved in bringing God's word to me.
MAY 30
We love our church because it is alive, and active and full of the spirit of God. The first time we visited, 9 years ago, we felt it, so strongly, it brought tears to our eyes. Instantly, we knew it was a good place to grow, serve and make new friends...so that\'s we did and our journey has been blessed ever since! We are so happy to be in the middle of this place where God is working and to be under the leadership of people who truly love God ... leaders who are excited about seeing lost people saved and life change happen! We love our church because it makes us thirsty for more of God!

It's not easy to put into words all the reasons I love this place we call "The Creek". I was looking for a church to attend that had a men's ministry, so at the invitation of a friend at work that was a member of Stevens Creek I attended my first service with my son on Setember 7th of last year. From the moment that I experienced the live worship service I knew there was something totally different here. I was brought up in a traditional baptist church and had never really experienced a live contemporary worship service like this. The music and praise just floods my soul, I feel totally consumed by the Holy Spirit, tears freely flow done my cheeks and I am so moved that it hard to explain. Live worship at the Creek is almost indescribable. The messages are easy to relate to your life, and they are filled with biblical truths. The people here all so caring and filled with our Savior's awesome love. I feel so blessed to serve here and call Stevens Creek my church home. I thank the Lord he brought me here. Oh yes, I Love My Church!

I love my church - Stevens Creek - Coming to this place has saved me. There were many times I felt like giving up. My children kept me strong, Stevens Creek kept me stronger. Every time I walk into Stevens Creek, I feel safe and I feel the power of GOD with everyone I come in contact with. I initially wanted to just visit, but the moment I walked in the door - I was hooked. I found my church and I found Jesus Christ again. Some people say you can feel the same at home, which can be true....But, obviously they haven't been to Stevens Creek either.
MAY 27
Stevens Creek has given me the hope that I needed to get through tough times. I was lost as a person then one Wednesday night I came to Stevens Creek and my life was changed forever. I live for Sundays and Wednesdays now. This is a wonderful place that is filled with love, joy, fun and has provided a experience that has allowed me for the first time in my life enjoy church and furthering my Christian walk.
MAY 27
I love this church because all of the sermons are about my mom's life and mine. It has helped us through all of the bad times we've been through. I also love it because the songs we sing. In most churches you just sing really old hyms, but at this church, we ROCK IT OUT!!!!!!!!!! I love this church soooooooo much!!!!!!

MAY 26
We visited MANY churches in the area when we first came to Augusta. We kept coming back to Stevens Creek. We love the freedom in worship, relevant teaching, and folks of all ages worshipping freely, joyfully, and enthusiastically!
Thanks to the leadership team for relevant and challenging messages, and the desire of the church to SERVE others in order to share the love of Christ. We're thankful God has brought us to this part of the body of Christ. We are sitting on the edge of our seats, anticipating what great things God has in store for all of us in the days to come.

Last Sunday was my first day at the Creek, and let me tell you it was AMAZING! I've never felt more comfortable and at home with people i have never seen before. The songs made me feel so alive. I'm so exicted to come back and I'm alread calling the Creek my home.
MAY 26
I love Stevens Creek because it is RELEVANT! The music takes me directly into worship with my God, and I feel His presence most when I am singing praises to Him. The teaching comes directly from the Word of God, usually confirming what the Lord has been telling me during my daily deovtions. I can apply this practical lesson as soon as I leave the church. The people are eager to make me feel welcome. I am always hungry for more when I leave...ready to return before I even leave the parking lot.

MAY 25
Before coming to the creek, my husband and I were looking for a church home. We began to stray away from church, which negatively took an effect on our marriage. My Dr.(David Bode)invited us to Stevens Creek; Which in my eyes saved our marriage and brought us together, if not closer. It has been our third time coming to the creek, and every time, we have felt nothing but welcomed with open arms. Coming to Stevens Creek gives us a sense of peace that we cannot get from anywhere else. From the moment we are greeted at the door, it's as if God has wrapped his arms around us and we are now able to breathe.
MAY 25
I love my church because my church loves me! Truly. Every single time I walk through the doors, the Holy Spirit meets me and consumes me with a hunger and expectation for God\'s word, like nothing I've ever experienced before. From Pastor Marty's teachings to the worship band, from the drama team to the greeters at the front door, the love of God and for God by this church family is alive and real welcoming with arms open wide.

MAY 25
In no particular order... :)
I LOVE MY CHURCH because...
Unity - From the very beginning I remember Todd & Marty speaking about the importance of unity within the church...but more importantly, I've
seen its importance played out for 6 years now.
Music - The music touched me down to the bottom of my heart from day one. I still remember how it ministered to me right when and where I
needed it. I can name 2 songs played that day...and yet they were new to me. :) The whole team is so talented and leads us into true worship
of our great God week in and week out.
Love - Also, from the beginning, people have been friendly and loving. There is no such thing as a stranger at the Creek. And there are no
prejudices. My eyes were really opened to this a couple of Sundays back when Big Carl, Shirley G, and myself had a group hug. I don't ever
remember this in my childhood church. There's also the love that is shown by taking care of people in times of trials of all kinds as well as love
for those less fortunate in Augusta and abroad. My mission trips to Costa Rica really opened my eyes to the needs of other countries.
Sermons - Wow! Are those guys talented or what? So many messages that have touched my heart and changed my life's direction. There's not
a sermon I can remember that I didn't learn something.
I could go on and on! I LOVE MY CHURCH!
MAY 24
The greatest thing just occurred to me. I’m sitting here listening to the Stevens Creek Saturate CD and I realized that I want to be back at church. My Sunday morning services are not enough for me. I love being at my church. I love the feeling of being surrounded by god. That doesn’t just happen at the Creek but it’s just great to be around so many other people feeling the same way. I’ve met some great people at the church that make coming even better but I’ve never felt closer to god than I have since I’ve gone to the Creek. I’ve never really felt close to god in general before I came to the Creek. The sermons are great, the worship band is amazing, the people are so laid back, The pastors are so down to earth; it’s the best church I’ve ever been to, hands down. The songs are so moving, so passionate and so inspiring; I’m filled so much with every verse. I’ve never found a church where I’ve wanted to come back other than the usual, expected times. That’s just so amazing to me that I want to be at church. I’m not just looking forward to the next Sunday morning service, I’m wishing there was something else I could go do at the church. I just love my church so much.

The first time me and my family visited the Creek was Father's Day of 2007. That had to be the hardest thing we had ever been through because we were so broken. My step dad had recently decided he wanted a divorce and we moved back down here to find the comfort of friends and family. I had never really lost faith in God but I had to keep asking why us. The friends that had invited us had realized that was not the best day to introduce us to the Creek. Also that year had not been our best and I started to walk away from the Lord because I didn't understand anymore. The friend asked me to give the Creek another chance and I went along with it. Ever since that 2nd chance me and my family have been going to Stevens Creek. It's been two years and we love it. I espeically love singing and worshiping with the band and seeing what's in store for the holidays of each year. I also love playing and working with the 2 year olds in Kid's Quest during the 11:30 service each week. I have never felt more closer to God than I do now. I also love how every sermon in the Sunday service and in the MIX relates to me and my family some how. It makes me feel a bit more understood. I also feel more friendly and open with people and feel like I am noticed a bit more than I used to be. I am glad that I was baptized here a year ago, I get to tell people everyday, who happen to notice my pictures, the story. In simple terms I love my church because it brought me back to life. My church saved me. I'm 17 years old and have alot fuller and longer life to live all thanks to the Creek.

MAY 24
I accepted Jesus into my heart many years ago and have tried many Churches along the way, never feeling quite commited. In 2005 I found myself on a downhill spiral that last almost a year and a half. At the end of 2006 I read Joel Osteen's "Your Best Life Now" and I found myself "Letting Go" and every day it became easier knowing that God was there for me, that He had NEVER left me, that He STILL loved me. I didn't make a New Years resolution that year instead I themed 2007 "Letting It Go!" In 2008 the theme was "All about Me!" but I realized some months into it that I couldn't do it alone that I NEEDED God ... I WANTED Him ... that I OWED Him so much. I knew that 2009 would be themed "Getting Closer to my Lord and Savior!" ... I went to church after church searching, not really understanding how I would know when I found "the one." Friends would say "You'll just KNOW!" I followed the "Fia" story and was in awe of the strength of the Gordon family! I began sharing the story of their faith and their fellow church members, through tears, with anybody and everybody. I attended Fia's Celebration of Life and listened to Melissa's testimony that"... it was God that carried our family!" On Mother's Day my daughter and I attended my first service at "the Creek" and I knew sitting there that I had "found" a church home. It was a very tearful and uplifting experience as I thanked Jesus for Fia and the life-changing experience that she brought to me. I didn't want to just go to church .. I longed to be part of a church. God is bringing out things in me and I'm excited to explore my spiritual gifts at "the Creek!" I'm excited about the Newcomers Meeting next Sunday night!!!

Since 1995, my husband and I have been visiting several times a year and watching the incredible journey of Stevens Creek Church. We moved to Augusta in 2005 to be near our grandchildren. That decision brought us into a church family that is like none other we have ever experienced. I have been a Christian since I was 11 years old and have served in many churches throughout the years, but never have I been part of a church that so genuinely loves God, loves people, and wants to serve the world. How do I love my church? Let me count the ways!! I love the excellent music, I love the thought provoking teaching, I love the way Stevens Creek children are loved and introduced to Jesus, I love the fact that every week lives are being brought from darkness to light, I love the friendships we have made, and I love knowing that I am part of a church that is in the truest sense following how God wants us to live our lives. Most everyone is younger than me, but I never feel more vibrant and alive than I do when I walk in the door of my church. Thank you, Pastor Marty for your vision and courage that has helped make Steves Creek the church it is today.
-SHIRLEY
MAY 24
We love our church because we feel welcomed. We are fairly new to The Creek, only started coming when Phil Stacey was there. We have been coming ever since. We love the sermons, the music is best that we have ever heard, the people are a shining example of Christ's love. We can not wait until 8:30 on Sunday mornings to arrive, we love our church. Keep doing what you are doing it is wonderful.

MAY 24
I love my church because no matter who you are or where you are in your walk with Christ you always feel accepted and welcome here. My church covers subjects that no other church will touch, but many people need to hear. Stevens Creek is amazing at reaching out into the comunity and I truly believe that those who see this can see God working through Stevens Creek in amazing ways!! My church ROCKS!!!
MAY 24
I love my church not only because of the Awesome music and Relevant word, but because of the Amazingly Beautiful and Talented people that make up Stevens Creek. In no other place have I seen so many people striving to use their Spiritual Gifts for God's Kingdom. Through this church, and these people, I found God. And without them, I know I wouldn't be here anymore. Through Depression and Anxiety, even when I thought I couldn't feel God himself, the Creek was there for me, and for that I am forever grateful. I Love You All!
MAY 24
I love my church because I feel like I have a front row seat to the best concert every Sunday morning! The band and music are just so incredible. I feel God's presence through the music and I see it through each member and how they get into the songs. I can't tell you how much the band lifts me up and really gets my blood pumping for Jesus. In fact, they are so awesome that my three year old son calls the band 'rock stars' and has to watch 'the rock stars' every Sunday morning before he will go to his class!!
-JENNIFER
MAY 23
6 months ago I left the first pres church because I didn't feel it was for me and then I stopped going to church. Until, April when my friend took me to Stevens Creek. I feel loved and cared about at stevens creek! Steven Creek has changed my life for the better. Praise God!

MAY 22
I love my church because I find myself hoping it is Sunday just to go there. Ever since I started attending service at The Creek life just seems to make sense (the good and the bad). Every experience I've had because of this church has made an impact in my life and I am truly thankful for that. I was baptized on Wednesday and it is a day I will never forget and am truly thankful for. I am so glad that I was baptized here at a place I love so much. You can truly feel God in this place moving in and through everyone and everything that is done here. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
-HEATHER
MAY 21
I came to The Creek shortly after my divorce in December 2007. Every Sunday I feel like God is talking to me through the sermon. I learn so much about Jesus and God and myself. My relationship with The Lord has strengthened because of Steven's Creek. I serve in the parking lot and love it. I love greeting people on Sunday mornings and seeing them smile as they walk towards the church ready to worship.
I also love the music at The Creek. On my first visit, the praise band sang Aerosmith's "Dream On". I knew from that moment that I had found a church home.
Thank you ALL for being in my Church Family.

MAY 21
RC & I are blessed beyond measure by our church & church family! Creekers are truly our Lord's hands and feet! We moved to Augusta 3 years ago at God's calling & He rewarded our obedience with more than we could ever imagine!
Four surgeries for me the first year and a heart procedure that saved RC's life the second year... God knew! Each time our Pastors & life group stood beside us & loved us with the love of our Father.
The Creek is where God and his people love each other. We love our Father, we love others, and we serve His world.
We witness miracles every day and praise our Lord for his goodness, his faithfulness, his forgiveness, his grace, and his unconditional love.
Our God is a God of second chances! Even third if we need them! We offer him all our praise, our love, and our thanks.
What an awesome God we serve! We are blessed to be Creekers!
-RC & DENISE
MAY 21
I love my church . . . because it spreads the word of Jesus Christ in a way that is fresh, understandable and relevant. Because it is dedicated to reaching the lost instead of just keeping the "found". Because it isn't scared to do something different, to step out towards the edge and do things different in order to reach the lost for Christ. I guess 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 says it best "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord." Stevens Creek epitomizes this verse and that's why I love it.
MAY 20
we have been coming to the creek for over a year now and would never go anywere else. we love everthing about the creek from the rocking music to the inspiring messages we hear every week. our kids love coming to church also. as a family we have also made some of the best friends ever by being a part of a small group. we always feel the prescence of God every time we come to church and we feel much closer to God.
MAY 20
We visited because it was close by. We came back because the kids said "Church was awesome!" We joined to be a part of a life-changing force in this community. We love Stevens Creek Church because it shines with Christ's immeasurable love.
MAY 19
The Creek has changed my life. My husband's life. And, as a result our kids' life.
When we started coming to the creek we had a newborn. I was raised Catholic. My hubby was raised Episcopal, but, his family only went to church at Easter and Christmas. My family went to church ALL THE TIME. The Catholic Church was what we ate, lived and breathed. I didn't know there was anything else. All I knew was that I wanted something differently for my family. I didn't want my kids to grow up thinking it was all about religion - like I did.
Coming to the Creek, I learned it is NOT about religion - it is about the relationship with Christ. I didn't know that having a relationship with Christ was really even possible. The Creek taught me it is !!
I grew up thinking that in order to get to heaven I had to DO DO DO ..... if I did enough good I could get there, MAYBE. If I didn't do enough good, then, I'd get to, at least pergatory and someone would pray me out of there into heaven! Before coming to the Creek I didn't know that God's word - the BIBLE - was real, living and breathing. So, before coming to the CREEK I didn't realize that my words had the power of life and death. I didn't realize that His grace is for FREE. A gift that we can accept and embrace. I didn't realize that even on my BEST days of good deeds I didn't match up. Wow, on my very best day my actions are still like filthy rags.
Before coming to the Creek I didn't realize how badly I needed a Savior.
Before coming to the Creek I was lost. I was broken. I was hurt.
So, when asked why I love the Creek -- my mind just floods with so many images, so many words, so much gratitude. I love my church because you all have made me confident in the person God has created me to be. I love my church because I have learned to dream God sized dreams. I love my church because God\'s presence is alive. I love my church because it draws me, my husband and my kiddos closer to Him!
Thank you all for what you do!
We are forever grateful!
-CHRISTINE
MAY 19
I love my church because I have come to know the true love our Lord has for us all. I have met Jesus Christ on a very personal level at Stevens Creek Church. He walks the isles there on a regular basis...especially when we need Him most. I also met the love of my life at Stevens Creek church and we will soon be married there. The outpouring of love and friendships is rampant at Stevens Creek. I now know why I am here. To love God, Love People and serve the world!
MAY 18
I love my church because my 3rd Grader put God as his favorite person on his "This is Me" worksheet!
MAY 18
Stevens Creek has taught me what church and loving God is all about. I am not from Augusta, but sure am glad I'm here because I found the Creek!! Now I never want to leave Augusta!! I can now say that I have a personal relationship with God...we talk everyday :) I definitely live my life a little different, and it's all for the better. So thank you, Stevens Creek, for bringing me closer to the Lord!
-KELLY
MAY 18
I love Stevens Creek Church because it is the first church that as a family, we all want to be there together. We have never wanted to serve before and more and more we are being lead to serve in different areas. My teenage son who is very shy loves serving in the children's ministry. The messages that are delivered are always in the ordinary man's language...easily understood and shown through a great drama, dance and worship team. We love the church so much we have got parents, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and several friends to start coming regularly. The creek is the place to grow in your faith and to serve our Great Savior. Thank you Stevens Creek for guiding me on my spirtual path.
MAY 18
I have only attended 2 services at Stevens Creek because I just recently moved to the area, but I can truely say out of the 2 services I have loved them both. I hope I can soon call Stevens Creek my Church!!!! I am so thankful I was able to find this place of worship...Thank you GOD.
-LEANN
MAY 18
I love my church because it's alive! I come from a traditional southern baptist church upbringing and the Creek feels so much more energized and filled with the Holy Spirit. The pastoral staff does an awesome job of explaining God's word in easy to understand layman's terms. My whole family, including three teenagers, can all relate to what is being relayed to us through Marty, Dave and Kevin. Thank God for being our creator and giving us a place like our church.
P.S. The band "ROCKS!"
MAY 18
I love the music, the enthusiasm and spirit I can sense when I enter the service each time. I also love the way my children are treated and that they are learning about God at ages 5 and 3.
-ANNE
MAY 18
I love my church because it is a true sanctuary. It\'s a place where you can step out of the world and into the presence of God. A place where we can grow our relationship with Christ every time we walk in the door. Thats the Creek...
-JOE
MAY 17
I love Stevens Creek, because you guys seem to have the essence, of what God is all about and I, for one am addicted! Never before have I been to a church, where the message actually feels like it reaches my soul. So, my hat off to Pastor Marty and all of the friendly staff.
& of course, there is the music. What would Stevens Creek be, without all of the brilliant sounds, that reverberate from the stage?? Haha, all part of what makes Stevens Creek, so unique.
I love this church!!
-JASON
MAY 17
My church is always new, always fresh & always relevant. Sometimes, I feel like the pastors are reading my mail, because the message speaks straight into my situation. My heart feels full when I leave worship there. It is a place to refresh, refuel and recharge my batteries. Finally, a church where I belong!!
-JENNIFER
MAY 17
I love my church because I know that my church (and everyone associated with it) loves me; and that's an amazing, overpowering feeling.
-KAITLYNN
MAY 17
I love Stevens Creek because of the praise music which I love and the preaching is wonderfull. I never paid much attention in Church but I feel like I am learning something all the time. They are focused on the youth today and it takes alot to get them involved in religion. Also Stevens Creek is not afraid dto step over the boundries to get the message across. Thank you for bringing me closer to my walk with God.
Just to share but one day I was not suppose to go to the Creek and we ended up going and I had an encounter, which I will never forget.
MAY 17
I love Stevens Creek because I feel comfortable there. I feel like i've never been this close to God. It's like no other church experience i've ever had! I always feel welcome, and no one there judges you, and they accept you for who you are.
-BRITTANY
MAY 17
I love my church because for the first time in my life I feel at home. I have learned more in the past three years of coming to the Creek then I learned in the 40 years prior at other places. I have brought several of my friends and family to God in these three years along with me too. We are excepted just as we are and are not looked down on because of our past or our present. I love that the Leaders often remind us that they are not perfect and that they are only human too. My whole thought process about earthly life and the after life has changed and I understand so much more Gods purpose for all of us. Thank God for The Creek!
-PATTI
MAY 17
Stevens Creek has changed my life. Before I came to Stevens Creek I had only been to church a hand full of times . I could never find a church I was comfortable in and was never close to god. The first Sunday I came to Stevens Creek Dave gave a sermon that talked about how if we were there, god sent us there for a reason. After that day I knew I was meant to be at Stevens Creek. Every day I come to church my faith continues to grow. I’ve even decided to be baptized on the 20th for the first time in my life. Stevens Creek is the only church I’ve ever been to that doesn’t just talk about giving money but giving time and effort. First Saturdays are one of the best things I’ve seen in a church. I just cant say enough good things about Stevens Creek, it’s really opened my eyes and brought me closer to God.
-JACK
MAY 16
I love Steven's Creek Church because of the good works that's done through the dedication of the staff and the church members. I love that when the message is given that it's not candy coated to please the members. Also, I have never felt closer to my Lord and Savior than I do now. I have been blessed with opportunities to grow and serve God's purpose. Even though I live in Fayetteville, NC my heart is there at Steven's Creek Church. Love ya'll
P.S. I'll Be Back

MAY 16
One reason, and there are many, is eight years ago our then 16 year old son came home from a Wednesday night service and announced he had just been baptized. What a Blessing! Words are not enough to express how we felt or how we continue to feel about Stevens Creek. Thank you for being just as you are.
MAY 15
I love Stevens Creek because I can really feel the presence of the Lord there. It makes me so excited to go to church. The worship experience is awesome, it really helps my heart be attentive to God. The pastors are awesome, and really have a passion to serve God. The people are great too, they\'re real and vulnerable, and I feel like they really have a soft spot in their hearts for God. My church is awesome because it\'s a beautiful picture of the body striving to draw nearer to God.
MAY 15
I grew up in a very conservative, legalistic church. Attending Stevens Creek Church was a 180 for me, and while there are imperfect people at the Creek, most are there to worship God and make Him first in their lives. That has touched me in a way that the "unwritten rules" of a legalistic church could ever open up. There are hypocrites in every church (people who say do one thing, but live a different way than what they tell you to do), and there are a few here, but the main focus of the entire group is to Love God, Serve People, and Serve the World.
I had to walk away from the "rules" that I had been taught were an artificial part of Christianity, but I have been learning that there are still faults in everyone, but God still loves us anyway. Thanks especially to Pastor Dave for being a totally authentic Christian who knows his Bible, and can quote to you what God thinks (not what he thinks) about almost every subject!!
I still have a long way to go to heal the past, but having people like Dorna ministering to me have helped me to "bury the past" and walk towards serving God and not just doing things to make people like me. Thanks to all of you.
Still growing in Christ.
MAY 15
I love Stevens Creek because I can feel the weight of the world lifted as soon as I walk through the door. I hadn't been to church in years when Robyn invited me to attend Stevens Creek. I was hesitant to go to Stevens Creek because it is so big, but I am so glad I did. My first Sunday at the Creek was amazing. I felt that the sermon that day was just for me. I needed that sermon. I felt that the Lord was letting me know that he's still there and he loves me. My kids love the Creek too. My daughter has not yet ventured to her class, but my son loves his class. I love listening to my son tell people that GOD is more powerful than Underdog.

MAY 15
Why do I love my church? Let’s see. Let me preface my answer with my purpose for coming to the Creek in the first place. I was a pastor’s wife who just went through a divorce and felt as if I’d been exiled from the pastor/pastor’s wife community. Six years of bible college can not prepare you for what I was about to go through. No amount of schooling can prepare you for the journey of a lifetime. My best friend Robyn Kelley stayed after me to come to church with her. She’s very proud of this place! I finally gave in. My ex husband and I went to an independent Baptist bible college and pastored a southern Baptist church in Hephzibah. So churches like this were not “of God”…so we were taught. When I came for the first time, it was complete culture shock. I kind of expected it, but wasn’t prepared for the full onset of contemporary church. I came to the Creek to hide out. I was living like the devil, running from God, resenting the world, bitter and broken. I felt like if I came to church I could still claim the “Christian” title, although, I certainly didn’t feel like much of one. I wanted a place where no one knew who I was, where I came from and wouldn’t frown upon me for being an “ex” pastor’s wife. So, I told God, let the games begin! I became good at hiding and running. I soon realized two things. One, there is no possible way you can outrun God. Two, sooner or later you get found. Thank God He found me!!!! God had me at this church to show me that there are people who love you right where you are. God had me at this church to show me that ministry isn’t something you do, it’s what you are. We are called to be servants. God had me at this church to show me that He, also, loves me right where I’m at and that He’s not finished with me regardless of what I thought. I love my church because God took a girl who was bitter and broken and healed her from the inside out! I love my church because it was in this place that I experienced God’s grace and mercy unlike any other time in my life. It was in this place that I finally allowed God to love me past my pain. I love my church because this is the place where God showed me what true love really is.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. And He calls me friend!!!

I love Stevens Creek because for the first time, our ENTIRE family wants to go to church. This has been a prayer of mine for years. It has brought our family together and blessed us in amazing ways!
MAY 15
The people are friendly and committed to worshipping God and keeping true to His Word. There is something for everyone. You are encouraged to be an active, committed, volunteering member of the church, not just sit on the sidelines. The spirit of God is definitely at Stevens Creek!
MAY 15
I love the creek for so many reasons. But my newest reason, which makes my heart so happy, is hearing my 3yr old son talk about his big strong Jesus that lives in his heart. Just last night at bedtime I listened to him go on and on with such enthusiasm about how God told the lions "No. No." and protected Daniel. The impact of the Children's ministry is evident so Thankyou for all that you do!
MAY 14
I feel God's presence at Stevens Creek unlike any other church I have attended.
MAY 14
I have so much to say that I think this is my 3rd message!I like Stevens Creek Church, because we all Love God. Since the very first time I visited with my family, I knew that it was the place God had for me to worship Him. Is energetic, powerful, and have all the activities me and my family likes and the best part we do it to gloryfy God. I like it because it follows the Bible and all the pastors explain everything so good I understand the message and aply it to my life to keep on growing in faith and in my personal relationship with Jesus. Even my children, they tell me about what they learned and we start talking about God and Jesus together after leaving church. Some times we have to watch it again online, because the children wants to go to church every day. I like it because we have no difference between people and we love each other. I like it because it gives me the opportunity to use the gifts that God gave me, and dedicate them back to Him. I like it because since I in there I feel like a big celebration and it doesn\'t have to be Christmas or Easter to feel that way, it\'s more like the way I imaging Heaven when all of us one day soon will be celebrating with God and Jesus in person. The encounter I have with God at the Creek not only is for Sundays and Wednesdays it last all week long and then you just rejoyce instead of recharge or start all over again, because it never ends. I like it because my family and friend from Puerto Rico can go to shurch with me even by the distance, online and like it too! Thank you God for include Stevens Creek in Your plan for my life! Thank you Stevens Creek staff for welcome the community and teach us about Jesus wish is the Only Way to get to God, to teach us to Love people as God Loves us and for give us the opportunnity to serve the world as God serve to us everyday. God Bless you always! Amen.

The Creek is not afraid to try something that is new and different.
MAY 14
Well I came here from AZ 4 and a half months ago very sick, desperate, hurt, and broken. I thought my life was going to be a neverending battle of addiction, but once I started coming to the Creek I learned that God has a major plan for me beyond my wildest dreams. The messages I hear every week always speak right to me and give me hope and faith to keep on going. My parents have been going to the Creek for a couple of years and even had me watch some sermons online while I was in Phoenix and they even spoke to me then. I am truley grateful for the music, the pastors, and the people that attend the Creek for taking time to get to know me. Most churches do not do that! It is nice to go to a church where so many people know my name. I am grateful to have God in my life again and clean and sober for 4 months now because of the Creek and it's awesome fellowship and team.

My best friend stayed after me to come to church with her. She’s very proud of this place! I finally gave in.
My ex husband and I went to an independent Baptist bible college and pastored a church in the area. So churches like Stevens Creek were not “of God”…so we were taught.
MAY 14
I want to tell you how much I love stevens creek. Coming to stevens creek is always exciting. I learn something every time I come. I leave feeling like nothing in this world is impossible, because God has my back. Marty and everyone does such a wonderful job of spreading the word. I just can't get enough!! When the service is over my heart has always been touched in someway. I don't want to forget too about the awesome, incredible band They are super!!! I wish I could sing. We'll I do sing in the congregation. Thank God ya'll can't here me. I know American Idol isn't calling my name. Thank You for making my world a better place!!!! I love Stevens creek.
-BEVERLY
MAY 14
I love my church because I can invite friends who are far from God and they will not feel "on display". They are accepted and loved right where they are. I love my church because its there that I've learned that the church is for the lost, not the found. Yet, we are challenged to continue growing and giving as Jesus would....not settling for less in Him.
MAY 14
Marty reached out to Trey and I right away. He knows our story and he has been a HUGE important part of our life. We will both always be so grateful to him for everything that he has done for us. Dave is just AMAZING!!! Every single time we call him, he stops whatever he is doing to help us. Dave is a true, genuine person that Trey and I just find ourselves wanting to be around as much as possible. When he preaches, there is NEVER a dull moment and we always learn so much from him. Being a youth leader and being able to work with Kevin has changed me as a person all together! I learn SO much from Kevin...I look up to him. Not many people can get my attention 100% but Kevin does. Marty, Dave & Kevin...you three have changed my life more than words could ever say! Marty, thank you for your advice pre-marriage and post. Dave, we trust you with all that we have...THANK YOU!! Kevin...YOU'RE AMAZING with what you do upstairs and thank you for letting me be a huge part of those students lives! I find myself striving to be a better person b/c of you and b/c of them.
I know I am lucky to have Stevens Creek as my church. I still have so much learning and growing to go through and I truly believe that it is b/c of Stevens Creek that I am, my marriage is, what it is today! Stevens Creek helped save my marriage, helped save me and my husband. Stevens Creek is not just a church to me but my family. There is no other church that I could get this kind of relationship with. I don't think I would be who I am today w/o Stevens Creek. THANK YOU!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

MAY 14
As a new "Creeker"; I love MY church because I am allowed to be ME. I can praise the Lord with my arms stretched high or hands simply folded. I can sing out loud, cry out loud, and love out loud. I can dress up, I can dress down, it's where love is always found. God is truly there; and there is where I want to be.
Thank you to the wonderful staff who gives so much of themselves to God and to us.
MAY 14
I love my church because it is my home away from home. Every morning that you walk into the Creek there is a smiling face and a warm personality waiting to talk to you. The Creek has allowed me to feel like I do not need to be a perfect person for God to love me. The Creek has allowed me to openly share my faith with all. I love love love the youth group. The youth group is where I find the most strength, every time I show up to youth I feel more welcomed and it is now to the point that I know almost everyone and feel as if they are my second family. I LOVE THE CREEK!
MAY 14
I love Stevens Creek because it's the first time in my life where I really feel like I am connecting with God, and God is connecting with me. From feeling like the messages and sermons are really meant for me and what's going on in my life, to the band and the awesome worship, to the volunteers that serve making every part of the Creek experience what it is....my experience with MY CHURCH has brought me something I had been missing for 34 years, a relationship with Jesus. Through my relationship with Jesus over the past two years I have not only accepted Him and know His relationship is real, but I now see that He was with me throughout my life. Even during a time in my life where I struggled with loneliness, self destruction, and suicide I realize now that Jesus was not only with me but carried me through those times.
I don't think I would have ever realized any of this, or had a relationship with Him, if it wasn’t for MY CHURCH. God speaking to me through MY CHURCH.
I LOVE MY CHURCH!

I love Stevens Creek because we ROCK AND we put on skits and we don't care what anybody thinks!
-SANDY
MAY 14
I love my church because we are not a "feel good church" we are a "real church" unafraid to talk about Money, Gay Marriage, and Sex.
MAY 14
I love Stevens Creek because it is where I finally felt at home and where I was able to finally open my heart to God - and hear Him! I'd been going to church locally for a few years but it wasn't until I came with a friend one Sunday that things felt different. I brought my small kids. People welcomed me, helped us get checked in, made me feel relaxed about the whole don't know where to go' thing that can happen in a new place. People smiled at me! One time a few weeks later, I had a recurring cough and the guy in the row behind me left during the service and came back with a cup of water for me! He didn't even know me! I sat there and cried and coughed!
Since coming to the Creek, at nearly 40, my life finally changed. My heart opened. I let Him in and finally knew what that meant! I don't think it ever would have happened at my former FORMAL church. My kids started singing songs they learned and doing dances. The difference in them has been HUGE as well. They speak of Jesus in conversation now at home. They always want to say grace before meals now. They are CHANGED, too. We listen to the local Christian radio station now and they know all the words to the songs.
The ministry team at the Creek - everyone - the music is incredible and definitely brings people in the door, the pastors are all wonderful speakers and speak REAL life to us and we can relate - are just incredible. I have found my home and I have found my Lord. I thank Him daily for my church. I love you all!
MAY 14
Stevens Creek has changed my life! I hadn't gone to church on a regular basis in years until I was invited to visit the Creek. I was instantly hooked. I knew I had found the perfect church. I felt the presence of God run through me. The people are so wonderful. I never feel uncomfortable or judged. The casual atmosphere along with the exciting praise music keeps me coming back week after week. Pastor Marty seems to have a direct line to God, as his sermons are so relevant and moving. Thank You Creek!

I have always struggled with faith. It was never introduced to me properly and I have shied away from it for many years. My wife has never given up on me and I started going to church in Ohio 2 years ago. I enjoyed the pastor as he was a fantastic speaker and he always found a way like Dave Willis to relate topics in a way that applied to my life. We moved to Georgia in the last year for my new job and we tried out the Creek. This church doesn\'t force anything on me like others have in the past, and I am able to come to Christ in my own way. There is guidance and support at every turn. Not to mention the band, sweet baby jesus, I love that band. I cry every single Sunday listening to the music. Todd rocks out and April can flat out knock you down with those golden pipes. I am lifted up and i\'ve learned to not only make room in my heart for Christ, but to empty myself so I can be saturated. Let Him work through me, not the other way around :) I love my church!

I love the Creek for so many reasons! 1. The muscic is awesome! 2.The sermons relate to everyday life and I get them, I m not day dreaming in church. I actually get them!!! 3. My kids love it and are learning new things every week and its awesome to hear them talk about God! 4. I think one of the best things has been hearing my husband brag to his friends about the Creek. He did not grow up as a child with Jesus in his life. So to hear him talk about it and that he likes it is such a great feeling. God is AWESOME!!!
MAY 14
To begin...A year ago I was at one of the lowest points of my life. I was sad, hurt, and completely broken. I had no idea what to do. My friend Penny asked me to come to Stevens Creek with her. I had not been to church in almost 20 years and felt that God was angry with me. I went with her and it was life changing. For the first time I felt God. A year later I can't wait for Wednesdays and Sundays to see what is next. I leave feeling energized and wanting to do something great. I have , now I have brought more friends back to god. To put it simply, I was lost but now I'm found! That is why I LOVE my church! Thank you Stevens Creek for giving me what I didnt even know I was missing, God.

MAY 14
I love Stevens Creek because every sermon seems catered specifically to me. When I first started coming, I was shocked by how every message felt like it was addressing my specific struggles at the time, in a way that was understandable, but direct. It's exactly what I needed to get my life back on track with God and I've been at Stevens Creek ever since. I also love the music, and the whole Creative Worship staff is just amazing.
MAY 14
I don't have to drag my kids to church. They want to come and they like to invite their friends to come because it's cool. They actually pay attention to the "sermons" and get it. We have great discussions afterwards. I want them to know that a relationship with God isn't boring or stuffy. It's alive and risky! Stevens Creek reflects that.
Also, I love the friends I've made in my small group. We do life together. They make me feel like I belong.

I love the creek because I hadn't been to church in 25+yrs. I was invited by a coworker 4 months ago and I haven't missed a

It just Rocks! From the moment you pull in and the parking team is there to take care of you, then you have wonderful smiling faces at the door saying good morning, you know your kids are safe... SECRUITY GUYS:) and they have an awesome time. Ok then you get coffee (who doesn't need that) then more smiling face that find you a seat, AWESOME worship and a perfect powerful message and the most important part is that it's all done for the Lord! People at the Creek are passionate about Jesus!! It Rocks from start to finish and I know I don't want to be anywhere else!
MAY 14
It uplifts me! I get energized by the spirit and enthusiasm of the people. The Creek family supports me, and I can feel the presence of God as we all worship together. The music team is awesome!

MAY 14
Wow! I don't even know where to begin! I'll start by saying that I was so lost before I started coming to the creek. I was going through a divorce, living the single life and doing everything but live for my life for GOD! I was invited by a friend and have been coming ever since. In my journey with growing with the creek, I have learned so much....my life has changed, now I put God first and I never did that before. I am ashamed of that, but I know that he has forgiven me. I also met a wonderful man that I brought to the creek with me and really brought him back to God all together and the Creek helped me do that. It's so rewarding watching people one at a time fall in love with an amazing church, but most importantly fall in love with God!!! I am happier, an ALL my priorities are on track now and I have the creek to thank for that, but the best part of it all is my relationship with God and I will never give that up for anyone or anything!!!! Our God is such an Awesome God!!!!! Well to sum it up...The Creek Rocks!!!!!

OK so here is my top ten reason why I love SCC:
1. Jesus is Lord @ Stevens Creek Church!
2. Our friends. Rachel and I have built some incredible relationships at the Creek. We have prayed, cried, and rejoiced with our friends @ the Creek :)
3. The word of God is preached boldly! With each message I hear at the Creek I almost feel it is like a wrap up of everything God is teaching Monday-Saturday!
4. Todd sings Hillsong music! Todd you are such a blessing to my family...
5. My kids love KidQuest. If you got kids, The Children’s Ministry at the Creek is a perfect place for them to learn about who God is. My boys love wrestling with Cole and they are always singing songs that they have learned. ;)
6. I have man crush on Dave Willis
7. The staff at the creek really have a desire to reach out and make a difference in our lives. That sets a major bar when you are looking for a Church!
8. I love seeing all the names on the Windows...
9. I got baptized there. That was totally cool!
10. Everything from the decor to the Prayer room on the Third floor has been done in excellence. Our Church has some style you have to admit!

I love Stevens Creek because it "fits my closet"! I like the "come as you can" atmosphere. It\'s about worshipping God, not being in a fashion show. I love the effort put into "reaching the masses". And wow what a band! I love seeing God's artistry outside through the big windows while His word is being taught and praises are being offered up. I love that my family loves to go and I don't have to beg them.

MAY 14
I love stevens creek because it has changed my life, before the creek I was so lost and did not know the true meaning of my life. The first time I went I felt like God was speaking right through Marty and directly to me, from that first experience I could not get enough. My life has done a 360 since I began going to the creek, it has tought me the true meaning to life, my purpose, and the love I need to have for others. The creek has helped my family and I grow closer with in every aspect and know that God is in control of everything, granted there has been some valleys but they are always there for you. What else can I say but I love the creek and the life changing experience it has given me. THANK YOU SO MUCH CREEK. PRAISE GOD.
-TIFFANY
MAY 14
I love The Creek because The Creek loves God! Cutting edge Christian music, "hip" Pastors, exciting children's facilities are great, but are nothing without putting Christ first. The Creek does everything with a sense of excellence that not only can be felt, but it also inspires.
MAY 13
I have loved the Creek since the first service we attended. Greg and I were both desperately looking for a church home and an experience that we BOTH could be comfortable with. We desperately needed God in our marriage. We found it at the Creek right then that very day. We knew we were \"home\" and have been ever since. The Praise and Worship, the messages that never fail to speak right to us, the loving and praying friends but mostly, the Spirit of God that fills the sanctuary each and every time I am there and especially on Wednesday nights. I am amazed daily at the power of prayer that works in and through the Creekers and the miracles that I can promise you that have happened in my family alone.
-KATHY
MAY 13
I love the Creek because God\'s presence is everywhere. The love of God flows out of everyone you meet. As a Creek member for over a year, I\'ve grown closer to the Lord and it has been an honor to have the opportunity to help lead elementary kids to the Lord. The excitement in their eyes as they RUN to their class every Sunday and Wednesday is amazing. God has given me the oppotunity to teach a small group involving 5th grade girls. This has truly been a challenge and a learning experience because this is the age when I myself was a \"troubled child\". Filling those kids with the love of God and knowing I have a small part in leading them down a rightous path is why I love The Creek so much.
-DANA
MAY 13
I love the Creek because of the ENERGY!!! You can feel it in the parking lot when you get out of the car and it follows you through the entire experience. Real people praising and worshipping together. The sermons are always relevant. The praise team is so very talented and do an incredible job. But most of all, it is the ENERGY!!! Be blessed!
-DON
MAY 12
I love the Creek because it doesn't put me to sleep like other churches, and because I feel like I am free to worship God without feeling like everyone around me is judging me. Actually, I love EVERYTHING about the Creek. I love the music, and I love how the preachers make it easy for me to understand God's word and I'm not walking out of church going....HUH?!!!
-SHERRY
MAY 12
...because it was after listening to Marty's messages and rocking out to the incredible band for almost a year that I finally got it! And I was allowed that time. And the mission statement was accomplished in this person! That was '02-'03. I'm not at the Creek anymore - we live in FL - but I will always love the Creek! They have a special way of reaching the people who are just checking it out, like I was. The Lord is definitely all over that place!
-JEANNE
MAY 12
Although I don't attend regularly, I love the Creek experience.. I never feel like I'm pointed out as a non-regular and I can always join in and feel welcome. I can learn something new and take notes in my bible to review later. The messages always make sense to me the way they are given and I never leave without feeling the awesome power of God.
